Green ASSOMA

When you purchase products from ASSOMA, you can be assured we test the products according to RoHS requirements. We have also performed carbon footprint analysis on some of our most popular pumps to determine our product's impact on the environment. This allows us to take definitive measures to gradually reduce our carbon footprint over the years. We now source all of our materials from environmentally responsible sources (see our purchasing policy) and from local suppliers where available.  

Carbon Footprint

ASSOMA conducted a carbon footprint survey on its main products AVF-X and AVF-C series. We do carbon footprint surveys not because of regulations, but because we ourselves want to understand the carbon emissions generated by producing a pump. We can use carbon footprint surveys to carefully choose the sources of materials and do our part for the earth.

Our Products and the Environment

  We are located in Taoyuan City in Taiwan, which is the largest industrial city in Taiwan. Taoyuan is also home to fruit and vegetable farms and rice fields serving the local market.
Therefore, it is crucial that our products and our processes do not use or emit any chemicals that may be harmful to the environment and our local ecosystems.

  Using Our Products

  We manufacture products that handle corrosive and hazardous chemicals. In a sense, our products are on the front line in the defense against environmental contamination.
We have made improvements to our fully plastic pumps over the years to make sure our plastic magnetic drive pump remains hermetically sealed throughout its service life.

Corporate Responsibility

ASSOMA INC aims to fulfill its corporate social responsibilities by helping the disadvantaged and supporting charitable organizations.
We comply with existing policies and regulations to safeguard and promote the rights and interests of employees and maintain a healthy, safe, and ethical work environment.  

Helping the disadvantaged

We regularly donate to the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation, United Way Taiwan, MSWF Taiwan, LiShin Foundation, and Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, etc.

Create a safe and comfortable work environment for employees, provide annual health checks, employee insurance, and employee training to improve their abilities.

  • We provide an electronic procurement platform to share information with our suppliers and to promote fair trading practices.
  • We develop long-term strategic partnerships with suppliers based on mutual trust and collaboration.
  • We require our suppliers to provide reliable products and services that meet our quality and delivery standards. We are also committed to providing our suppliers with corresponding fair and timely compensation for their products and services

Legal and Ethical

  • We do not purchase from suppliers who violate labor safety, forced labor, child labor, or any form of violation of national labor laws and regulations.
  • We urge suppliers to implement environmental protection policies required by national laws.
  • Suppliers must not purchase conflict mineral materials.
  • When we conduct procurement activities, we strictly abide by relevant national laws, regulations, and social ethics and integrity standards.

Green Procurement

  • Our product development and manufacturing follow international green environmental protection trends. We promote environmental sustainability and purchase materials and parts that have the least environmental impact.
  • We analyze all purchased materials to ensure they are RoHS 3.0 compliant.

Intellectual Property Management

  • We abide by national and international intellectual property laws and regulations, and respect the intellectual property rights of suppliers and maintain the confidentiality of information obtained through procurement activities.
