Note: For the AMX-220/221/440/441 models, the Bracket must be assembled to the Motor first.

Parts check
- Check the exterior of the Drive Magnet. There should not be any chipped paint or rusting
Installing the Drive Magnet onto the Motor
Instructions
- Step 1 - Inspect the Motor (IPQC 1, IPQC 2)
- Step 2 - Prepare the Motor shaft and remove any protective covering or coating
- Step 3 - Back out the set screws on the Drive Magnet to make sure they will not interfere
- Step 4 - Apply grease to the Motor shaft of the Front Casing and the Rear Casing
- Step 5 - Align and slide the Drive Magnet onto the Motor shaft into position (IPQC 3)
- Step 6 - Tighten the set screws on the Drive Magnet (Torque 100 kgf*cm or 10 N-m). If the Bracket has been installed, tighten the set screws through the hole at the bottom of the Bracket.
- Step 7 - Clean the magnets with a piece of tape to remove all metal debris
In-Process Quality Check (IPQC)
- Check the motor nameplate to ensure the correct motor is installed
- Check the motor terminal box is facing the correct direction
- The inside surface of the Drive Magnet should be flush with the Motor shaft
