For plastic Bracket and Base
- Check the exterior for any cracks or damage
- Check the threads of the embedded nuts in the Bracket
For cast iron Bracket and stainless steel Base
- Check the bracket for cracked or damaged paint
Installing the Pump Bracket for AMX-220/221/440/441 models
- Step 1 - Inspect the Motor (IPQC 1, IPQC 2)
- Step 2 - Prepare the Motor shaft and remove any protective covering or coating

Installing the Pump Bracket and Base
Instructions
- Step 1 - Place the Motor vertically on a piece of clean cloth on your workbench. The Motor should be rotated so that the bottom of the motor should be facing you
- Step 2 - Place the Bracket over the Motor and align the bolt holes (IPQC 3)
- Step 3 - Place the spring washers onto the bolts
- Step 4 - Apply grease to the bolts and secure the Bracket to the Motor *
- Step 5 - Align the Base with the bolt holes on the Bracket.
- Step 6 - Place the spring and flat washers onto the bolts
- Step 7 - Apply grease to the bolts and secure the Base to the Bracket *
*Note: Use the following tightening torques for the Bracket and Base.

In-Process Quality Check (IPQC)
- Check the motor nameplate to ensure the correct motor is installed
- Check the motor terminal box is facing the correct direction
- Check the direction of the Bracket. The arrow on the Bracket should be at the top of the pump
