Installing the Front Shaft Support and Pump Shaft

1. Check the Front Casing to make sure there is no visible damage or debris
2. Check the Front Shaft Support to make sure it is not deformed or damaged
3. Check the Pump Shaft to make sure it is clean and there are no damages

Instructions:

• Step 1 - Place a plastic block and a piece of clean cloth onto the Arbor Press
• Step 2 - Place the Front Casing onto the plastic block
• Step 3 - Align the Front Shaft Support with the grooves in the Front Casing
• Step 4 - Place a small block onto the Front Shaft Support to protect from damage
• Step 5 - Press the Front Shaft Support into the Front Casing (IPQC 1)
• Step 6 - Align the Pump Shaft onto and press into the Front Shaft Support (IPQC 2)

 In-Process Quality Check (IPQC)

• Check that the Front Shaft Support is fully pressed into the Front Casing
• Check that the Pump Shaft is fully pressed into the Front Shaft Support
