Installing the Rear Casing

Parts check

  1. Check the O-Ring / Gasket to make sure there are no scratches or visible damage
  2. Make sure the O-Ring / Gasket surfaces are clean and smooth
  3. Check and make sure the seal surfaces are clean and free from damage

Installing the Rear Casing

Instructions

  • Step 1 - Place the O-Ring / Gasket on the Rear Casing
  • Step 2 - Hold the Front Casing Assembly at an angle. Match the Rear Casing onto the Front Casing Assembly.
  • Step 3 - Gently turn the Rear Casing Assembly so that the O-Ring / Gasket does not get caught between the Front Casing Assembly and the Rear Casing
  • Step 4 - Push the Rear Casing completely down. There should still be some height difference between the surface of the Front Casing and the Rear Casing
  • Step 5 - Place the Pump Head Assembly on a clean work surface
  • Step 6 - Slide the Backup Plate onto the Rear Casing (Not applicable for AMX-440 Model) (IPQC 1, IPQC 2)

In-Process Quality Check (IPQC)

  • The Backup Plate’s curved edge should be aligned with the Rear Casing
  • The Backup Plate should sit lower than the edge of the Rear Casing
